What is blog?
A blog contains analysis of the type of diary and links to
articles on other websites, usually presented as a list of items posted in
chronological order.
Many blogs focus on a specific topic, such as web design,
home forum, sports, or mobile technology. Some are very eclectic, presenting
links to all sorts of other sites.
Generally (although there are exceptions), blogs are usually
a few similar:
• Main content area with sequence of events, the newest at
the top. Usually, articles are sorted into categories. Anical archive of older
articles.
• How people leave ideas on topics.
Some blogs may have more features than these. Watch this
short video for a simple description of what a blog is.
What is a "blogger"?
A blogger is a person who owns or owns a blog or a person
who owns a blog. Such entries
are known as blog posts.
Blog Content
Content is the raison d'être of any website. Marketing sites
include product catalogs. University sites contain information on their
campuses, curriculum, and faculty. News sites display the latest news. With a
personal blog, you may have many updates, or reviews. Apart from the updated
content, there is little reason to visit the website more than once.
Yes, some blogs have multiple authors, each writing its own essays. Often, bloggers write their articles in a web-based program, built on the blogging system itself.
Called "pingbacks" or
"trackbacks", they can notify other bloggers whenever they quote an
article from another site in their articles. All of this ensures that online
chats can be maintained painfully between different users of websites and
websites.
The Difference Between a Blog and a CMS?
Software running your website is often referred to as a CMS
or “Content Management System”. Many blogging software programs are considered
CMS. While some CMS programs offer many
features and complexity, the basic blogging tool provides connectivity where
you can work in a simple and, to a degree, intuitive way while managing the
features involved in making your writing visible and publicly available.
WordPress is an advanced blogging tool and offers a rich set
of features. WordPress goes a long
way to see if your blog posts look good, the text looks good, and the html code
generated complies with web standards.
First, read Getting Started with WordPress, which contains
information on how to make WordPress set up quickly and efficiently, as well as
information on performing basic tasks within WordPress, such as creating new posts
or editing existing ones.
Things Bloggers Should Know
In addition to understanding how your blogging software
works, like WordPress, there are some terms and conditions you need to know.
Archives
A blog is also a great way to keep track of an article on a
site. Many blogs are archived based on dates (such as monthly or annual
archives).
Not only that; and you can archive your author posts or alphabets. The possibilities are endless. This ability to edit and present articles extensively is what makes blogging a popular personal publishing tool.
